“Mrs. George works for Washington County School District. She has been teaching since 2012 and has also taught for Alpine School District. She loves teaching and has a passion for it. Even when she has a baby and was home she continued to help students by teaching English online to students in 3rd world countries. Mrs. George was teaching kindergarten at Washington Elementary. She was doing such a fantastic job Ana making such an impact with her students that was selected to move schools and start teaching at Coral Cliffs Elementary. The reason this is significant is that Coral Cliffs is the Washington County Teacher Development School. This is where other teachers come to watch and learn from the best. She also is modeling full day kindergarten for the district and proving the benefits of it in her “laboratory” classroom. The reason she was selected as the “model kindergarten teacher” is because of her love for, and dedication to, her students. She truly teaches with love and the students know it and can feel the genuineness of her love for them; which inspires them to respond to her and achieve in her classroom. Mrs. George goes above and beyond for her students and deserves to be recognized.”
