“Kaya is an amazing teacher. She works incredibly hard and has a lot of behaviors in her class. She has taken hours to help one particular student get the opportunity to be tested for special needs. That has added hours and hours of extra labor on top of what she already does. She spends her own money on fun, decorations, crafts, and treats for her class. She is an exceptional teacher and an exceptional person. The kids love her. She will even go out to recess and play football with them. She bought them a new football for Christmas and the kids are thrilled to have such an amazing teacher. Kaya works in a Title One school where there’s not a lot of funding so she will help the classroom with her own funds. The kids adore her and so does the staff.”
