Kevan Sprague, Mountain Ridge High School

“I am writing this nomination for my brother who is not a teacher, but the Head Custodian at Mountain Ridge high. Kevan I feel is as good as a teacher, he has great relationships with the students and supports them in a lot of ways, which the students appreciate as well as parents and other staff members in the building. He attends many sporting events and cheer , drill etc. Kevan gets to know the students and is often seen conversing with them and asking how their day is and greets them with a smile. Kevan does a great job keeping the building clean and safe for all 2600 students and does a great job. Kevan does little things like making plaques to give the out going seniors in different groups. Kevan is known even with the younger daycare students that are at the school. He has been a custodian for 30 years and os always looking for ways to help the students have a better educational experience each day. So I feel that as he is not a teacher , he goes above and beyond to make each students day better. Thank You”
