“She looks out for each child in her call and wants each of them to succeed. She wants them to have hands on experiences. Her class was leaning about a library in a different country where a donkey brought the books to the villiages. She knew of a relative that has a donkey and she made arrangements for her to bring the donkey to the school grounds. Each of the first grade teachers were able to have their classes go see the donkey. She has some students that have challenges and she adapts the lessons so they can succeed too. She had a district school leader come to observe her with a particular lesson. They told her that they had never seen a teacher persent the lesson as well as she did. She gets so excited when any of her students makes progress and she for sure makes sure the student is commended. She loves the smiles she can instil in each student.”
