Linzi Pettey, Daybreak Elementary

“Linzi is an amazing teacher. She loves her students and they love her! She has been a team leader of her grade and she was honored as “outstanding educator of the year” by Jordan School District in 2020. Even the parents love Linzi. She is kind and funny and is always looking out for her students. She moved from 3rd grade to kindergarten in 2020 and had so many obstacles because of covid. It was hard to help the students learn how to say words while looking at them through a mask and a shield. But she gave it her all. She also received her masters in education during the difficult times of 2020. Her room’s theme is super heroes and she is a super hero to many many people. Any student would be honored to have Miss Pettey!”
