“Mrs. Barrow goes the extra mile to make every student’s learning meaningful and challenging. She knows each kid very well. What keeps them motivated and engaged in the classroom. She is excited for their successes and also notices when they might be feeling down or discouraged. She saw me the other day and asked for a picture of my student in which she then added to her math lesson online. She just does a fabulous job keeping things personal and getting kids attention. A number of boys in her class happened to play on the same junior jazz team and had told her they were playing one night. She took time out of her otherwise busy schedule to share in their interest and cheer them on. I know my student is well taken care of in Mrs. Barrow’s class. I am happy to nominate her for the hard work and dedication she puts in every day to make learning in her class the best experience possible.”
