Maren Williams, Pony Express Elementary

“Mrs. Williams was my daughter’s kindergarten teacher during the 2019/20 school year. She went above and beyond to make sure that each child felt like they were the only one in her class. She was so attentive to every single students needs both emotionally and educationally. My daughter thrived with her being the teacher and still talks to her and about her. Mrs. Williams gave my daughter the foundation she needed to have a love of learning and school. She was excited every day to go to school and still is today! During the time when class was canceled (March-May), Mrs. Williams had one-on-one time via zoom at least twice a week, and with the entire class twice a week. She “sang” songs with the whole class, taught them their lessons, and opened the microphone at the end of their lessons so they could “talk” to each other and say hi and be silly. She also had each days lessons for the entire week set up on the platform so that parents could easily go through each one with their kids and have their child succeed. Mrs. Williams is easy to talk to from a parent and student perspective. I believe that she was every one of her students favorite teachers. I wish that she could be my daughters teacher every single year! (Side note: I think Mrs. Williams has moved to Alpine Elementary School)”
