“Meagan has been a ray of pure sunshine and hope in my kids life and my own. My twins had a really difficult year in kindergarten, it was so difficult everyday for them to attend and my heart broke everyday as they cried to not go to school. I was concerned this would give them a poor opinion of school and education.
I requested the school provide a loving and supportive environment with a teacher who would help to change this perception. I feel these first 2-3 years are the most important for my children to develop a love of learning and trust in a teacher.
Mrs. Kennington was so organized, provided routine, a safe environment, encouragement and recognition, but mostly she helped my twins to feel as loved at school as they are at home. She consistently made an effort to know every child in her classroom and meet them where they were at to learn and grow.
I was pulling them out of the car and into class, crying, feeling incredible anxiety and guilt as a mother, everyday. Then things changed with Mrs. Kennington. I was able to see my twins jumping out of my car in the morning and racing each other to get to her and class.
Everyday got better. She changed my life and the future of my children’s education. I can never express her influence. She is beyond a teacher, she is a mom and a human being dedicated to success of student, parents, and families.”
