I have never seen Michelle give up on anything or anyone, showing her relentless support and belief in the potential of every student.
Her students, both current and former, adore her, with one student in particular seeking out her company—a sentiment I share, as her presence is both inspiring and uplifting. Despite her remarkable contributions, Michelle often flies under the radar, not receiving the recognition she truly deserves.

“Mrs. Collings is a kind, patient, angelic human. She goes unnoticed and flies under the radar as she is changing lives. She works tirelessly to make sure her students have what they need to succeed in the classroom and in life. Her students know they can feel safe in her classroom. They know that if they need anything, she will find it, has it or will get it for them. She works late into the night and then shows up the next day as if she went to bed at 8:00pm, knowing she didn’t stop working until at least 1am. I don’t know how she does it. Just like any other teacher, when she is sick, she has full lesson plans prepared, that she is working on as she is fighting bronchitis and double pink eye. She truly cares for the well-being of her students and their families. We all better because Mrs. Collings is in our lives!”
