“Michelle Lovell works for Jordan School District as an administrator and is in charge of creating and overseeing the literacy curriculum for grades K-3. Over and over again, Michelle has proven that teaching is all about the students and ensuring that they are receiving the best education possible. She will personally go to schools and work with teachers outside of work hours to help them master teaching methods and make sure that they are best equipped to teach the students in their classrooms.”

“She has gone out of her way to make sure that her district has the best curriculum to teach the kids to read and write. On top of this, she has made sure that each teacher is using the curriculum correctly. With this implementation, kids in the district have started to receive better scores in reading than they’ve received in years. None of this would be possible without Michelle.”

“Michelle is a leader and she does her best to make sure that her employees are not only receiving the best tools possible to give kids the best education there is, but also feel valued and important themselves. Single-handedly, Michelle has taught millions of kids to read and the impact she has made in her district is priceless. I have never met a teacher who deserves to be appreciated and acknowledged more than Michelle.”
