Mrs. Dietz has opened my sons eyes up to the excitement that learning should and can be. She did it by caring if my son has a good day. She does it by encouraging him to do his best and really helps him understand how he is reacting to situations and how he can do it differently next time. His behavior has done a full 180 degree switch. He now loves school, where he used to used to say he was sick every day in years past. He loves going to school to see his friends. He has struggled to make friends and keep them in years past. He has better scores on tests this year because the teacher knows how to help him. She is very positive and is willing to adjust her teaching method to fit the student. She is the exact opposite of the old rhetoric where it is a one size fits all approach because she cares enough to teach and not just say oh well pass them along. She is the exact model of what I wish all teachers could be formed after. If my son had had more teachers like this I wouldn’t of received phone calls all the time about how bored or misbehaved he is in school. Mrs. Dietz is by far the best teacher we have ever had. I love how much she has done for my son and his confidence in learning. He now has goals and a plan for his future. He can see himself doing and being someone important now. He believes in himself. Thank you a million times, thank you. I am so glad there are teachers like you.
