“Mrs. Ward is a 2nd grade teacher at Huntington Elementary, a Title 1 and ESL school. She is a high energy teacher, who is fully engaged in her students learning and success. She maintains a loving and caring relationship with her students and parents year after year. She sees that each student thrives and feels like a superstar in her classroom. The key to her success is unity in her classroom. She sees how unity can bring people together and works hard to bring unity to the whole school and her co-workers. She is a teacher who is willing to share her great ideas and help any way she can with her fellow teachers. She is always actively engaged in implementing ways to bring unity in her school. She has taught summer school, to continue student success, helped organize an after school robotics club, gathered donations from local businesses and started the Bronco Pride good deed drawing. These are only a few of the countless ways she works to bring and keep unity within her school. This year Mrs. Ward put together a cart with a “Treat as Sweet as you are!” She assigned each class a day to make cards to celebrate a special faculty or staff member. The class will wheel the cart with the cards and treats to that special person or persons, to make them feel special and loved! What a great idea and Superstar Teacher! Let’s all honor and recognize this incredible educator!”
