Mrs. Patricia (Anne) Warner, Green Acres Elementary

“Mrs. Warner has been a dedicated educator for over 33 years, beginning her teaching career in 1992. Since 2003, she has been a beloved Kindergarten teacher at Green Acres Elementary in North Ogden, Utah. In her classroom, she lays the crucial foundation for lifelong learning—nurturing growth in reading, writing, math, science, and social skills for her Kindergarten students.
Over the course of her career, with an average class size of 25 students each year, Mrs. Warner has directly impacted more than 825 children. Many of those years included teaching both morning and afternoon Kindergarten sessions, and her collaborative approach with her team means her influence has extended to well over a thousand young learners.
Her impact goes far beyond academics. Mrs. Warner creates a classroom environment that sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and makes every child feel valued. She is known for her creativity and heartfelt dedication—finding ways to make learning joyful and memorable.
Jerika Mays, a parent of twins in Mrs. Warner’s 2024–2025 class, shared this powerful testimonial:
“Mrs. Warner has truly ignited a love of learning in my twins, Jack and Annie. Every day, they come home beaming with excitement to share what they’ve discovered in class. One of the most memorable moments this year was when she partnered with a local trophy shop to create personalized trophies for each student. As the children mastered key Kindergarten skills, they were invited to stand proudly on a pedestal and receive their award as part of the ‘Great Kindergarten Learning Race.’ It was such a creative and meaningful way to celebrate their progress. Mrs. Warner doesn’t just teach—she inspires, encourages, and makes every child feel like a champion.”
