Mrs. Wride, Riverside Elementary School

“She is so amazing with all of her students. She takes the time to make sure all the parents are in the know every single day, even if it is after school hours. She really teaches on the kids level. She is patient and yet she is firm. She teaches DLI and that takes a lot of patience. She goes above and beyond and never misses a beat. She is always positive and the kids love to be around her because of that. During our parent teacher conferences I remember sitting there laughing with her about all the silly things that her students do and how much fun she has teaching and how much she loves them all. She is a breath of fresh air. Last school year she was dealing with some pretty major health issues so she had to take some time off, however that didn’t stop her from communicating with all the parents and students. I consistently received messages from her about my students progress and the assignments that needed to be done while she was away. She is amazing and deserves much needed recognition. This world needs more teachers like Mrs. Wride. I wish she could just follow my kids for their whole school career.”
