Mr. Dodge has been a first grade teacher for the last 12 years. This is his second career. His first career was a professional butler for 18 years. He realized while working as a butler the he was a mentor and friend to the children where he worked for their wealthy parents. His high values and kindness was just they needed as their parents were often away working or traveling. This inspired Mr. Dodge to obtain his teaching certificate and also his other reading endorsements to give his students the best education possible. Mr. Dodge genuinely cares for his first grade classes. He spends countless hours in the evenings and weekends preparing for his classes the next day and week. It is rare to see Mr. Dodge not taking a box of materials to his weekend trips with friends and uses every possible moment to complete his class preparation. Students, teachers and parents admire and love him for his kind and gentle demeanor.
