“I just want to give a shout out to Shalice Benedum. She is fantastic! She teaches in person 6th grade all day and took on the extra task to teach the kids who decided to do online only school during the pandemic, which happened to be one of my kids. She has been amazing with the online only kids! We have never meet Mrs. Benedum before we started online only school but we are so lucky to have her! I want to recognize her for the extra countless hours she puts in doing videos to teach math and science to the online kids before and after she teaches her in person students. The videos have been incredible! She is so positive, helpful and fun. We look forward to seeing her everyday! She is so personable and has made us feel connected while doing online only school. She has made such a difference for my child. She truly loves and cares for her students and wants them to succeed and feel confident. I would love for her to get recognized! Thank you!”
