“Mrs Stephens makes the classroom a safe learning space. She is a very sympathetic person and understands what and when people need help. She seems to try her best teaching in a way where people can feel comfortable. Her class in one I look forward to, because she makes boring things fun. She has encouraged me to finish my books and get back into reading. Overall she is an amazing teacher and person, she is kind to everyone making sure they are fine, checking daily if people are doing good.”

“Mrs. Stephens is the best English teacher here because she has a lot of fun games and activities we play. She has fidgets, blankets, stuffed animals, chargers, & pencils for her students. She takes care of us, she has a lot of fun assignments for us, we have conversations and debates about topics. She have a lot of group projects, she has a lot of hands on activities, & she loves helping us take notes for future writing.”

“Mrs. Stephens shows kindness when you’re upset or going through something she can tell right away when you’re not being yourself. She’ll be right there to go and check up on you. She greets you everyday even when she’s not having a good day she always tries to make yours a little better. She also makes sure your comfortable in her class shes very open to anything you need she lets you fidget with your fidgets in class, lets you sit comfortably in your chair (which is amazing for ADD kids aka me), and when reading in class along with her she lets you sit on your desk.
How does she spread kindness to others? Mrs. Stephens spreads kindness to others, especially her students for example, I
was having a ROUGH day. She saw me crying and immediately checked up on me and said to come to her class after everything was situated with me and the bullies. After me and my dad went to the principal I went to her school and was able to tell her everything that happened. She was immediately on my side and said if anything else happens she’ll come and defend my name. She also will mail note cards to your house showing appreciation.”

“I Want to nominate mrs.Tara Stephens because she stayed after school for half an hour to help me work on all my missing assignments and explained to me how to figure it all out, and she treats me and everyone else very nicely, and helps you when you are bullied, I think Miss Stephens should be nominated for these reasons.”
