I-15 collisions affecting weekend traffic

A multi-vehicle collision involving three cars on northbound I-15 at 10600 S has caused delays after a truck pulling a trailer rolled over, blocking three lanes.(UDOT)

SALT LAKE CITY — A multi-vehicle collision involving three cars on northbound I-15 at 10600 S has caused delays after a truck pulling a trailer rolled over, blocking three lanes.

Mike Alexander from the Utah Highway Patrol has confirmed that the injuries reported were minor.

Emergency responders quickly attended to the scene. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.

Another minor accident is located up the road at 11900 S. Officials said that in this accident there were no injuries.

Travelers are advised to exercise caution and look for alternate routes while authorities work to clear the affected lanes.
