SALT LAKE CITY — Travelers planning to drive through Logan Canyon on Monday and Tuesday nights will need to find an alternative route due to major construction work.
The Utah Department of Transportation stated that from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. on both nights, both directions of Highway 89 in the canyon will be closed, and traffic will be redirected.
“During this closure, crews will be digging trenches to lay pipes. This project will also replace pavement, rumble strips and lane striping in Logan Canyon,” UDOT said in a press release.
To stay up-to-date on these closures, UDOT suggests visiting the UDOT Traffic website, downloading the UDOT Traffic app, or following the department on social media.
