Man ejected, killed after going down ravine near Parleys Canyon

SALT LAKE CITY — A man is dead after being ejected from his vehicle on Thursday morning after going down a ravine.
Lt. Cam Roden with UHP said the man was driving a Sedan on northbound Interstate 215, and took a single-lane ramp headed onto westbound Interstate 80.
Roden said for an unknown reason, the man left the road at around 6 a.m.
“(The driver) went off the road and went down into the ravine,” Roden said.
Roden said the man was ejected from his car, ultimately killing him.
One single ramp heading onto westbound I-80 was closed.
