SALT LAKE CITY — Traffic was backed up in Kaysville on Interstate 15 on Saturday after a camping trailer caught fire on the interstate.
Kaysville City Fire Department said the fire started just before Burton Lane on I-15.
“Multiple small explosions from onboard propane tanks have been reported, and as a precaution, all southbound lanes have been closed,” the fire department said. “Fortunately, all occupants of the (trailer) were able to exit safely.”
Firefighters have asked drivers to avoid the area as they work and to expect delays on the roadway.
