One dead, one injured following Kyhv Peak rollover

SALT LAKE CITY — One person is dead and another person is injured after a rollover crash on Kyhv Peak Road in Provo.

According to a press release from the Provo Police Department, at approximately 7 a.m., the department was notified of a rollover crash on Kyhv Peak Road.

A 33-year-old man had checked himself into the ER with leg and head injuries. He told ER staff that he had been in a rollover crash on Kyhv Peak Road and that there was still one person in the car, who was unresponsive.

Police located the car approximately 50 yards from the road and found a deceased female in it.

Kyhv Peak Road was closed for six hours while police investigated. Their investigation is ongoing.
