Roadway closed in West Jordan due to police activity

SALT LAKE CITY — Police activity closed a road in West Jordan on Wednesday.

According to the Utah Department of Transportation, eastbound 7800 South at 2200 West was closed, a block west of Redwood Road.

UDOT advised drivers to use 9000 South as an alternate route while police handle the situation.

As of 12:30 p.m., the roadway was still closed to eastbound traffic.
