SALT LAKE CITY — Maintenance on a waterline leak could cause traffic to back up throughout the day on parts of state Route 39 on Canyon Road.
The Utah Department of Transportation said traffic is likely to be delayed while maintenance continues throughout the day.
“Due to an Ogden City waterline break, SR-39 is currently down to one, alternating lane near the mouth of the canyon,” UDOT said.
According to the UDOT website, drivers should expect the right westbound lanes and the right shoulder to be blocked in Weber County.
“Drivers should expect significant delays and consider alternate routes like the North Ogden Divide and Trappers Loop,” UDOT said.
