SALT LAKE CITY — The bridge deck rehabilitation project on State Route 201 at 3200 West is on track for completion early next year.
The project is projected to finish in early February. Utah Department of Transportation Spokesperson John Gleason said extremely cold temperatures and bad weather conditions would be the only reason to put a pause on the construction.
“There is still a lot of work that we can accomplish, even when it’s snowing,” said Gleason.
Crews have already completed a lot of work. Gleason said the goal is to have a new, safer bridge deck that will last for years to come.
