Timpanogos Highway shut down due to diesel fuel spill, Lehi FD says

LEHI — Timpanogos Highway was shut down Thursday night due to a diesel fuel spill, according to the Lehi Fire Department.
The Lehi FD said in a Facebook post that a trailer hauling diesel fuel overturned and ruptured on the westbound lanes.
The trailer was carrying approximately 300 gallons of diesel fuel, according to the post.
Lehi FD Hazmat technicians responded to the area, as they worked to contain the spill and stop the leak.
According to Lehi FD, both the Utah Department of Transportation and Lehi Police worked together to clean up the spill.
Timpanogos Highway has since been open.
