4 children considered missing, endangered. Police believe they were taken out of the country

SALT LAKE CITY — Four Utah children are considered missing and endangered, the Department of Public Safety announced Wednesday. Authorities believe they were kidnapped by a parent and taken out of the country.
The Department of Public Safety said 11-year-old Landon Seymour, 8-year-old Levi Parker Seymour, 7-year-old Hazel Raye Seymour and 3-year-old Jacob Kurt Brady were all missing.
Lt. Andrew Hercules with the West Jordan Police Department said police were first tipped off when they conducted a welfare check for the children’s mother, Elleshia Anne Seymour, who had not shown up for work and was not answering calls on Dec 2. Hercules said she has joint custody of the four children.
As they investigated, police found that Elleshia had driven to an unspecified airport with her four children and then flown out of the country. Police said the flight landed in Europe. At this time, WJPD is working with the FBI to locate Elleshia and the children.
