Apartment complex catches fire in Provo Monday afternoon

PROVO, Utah — An apartment complex caught fire Monday afternoon in Provo, near 300 North and 400 West.
Provo Fire and Rescue responded to a call around 4:40 p.m. When they arrived, they found the fire was primarily isolated to one unit on the third floor of the building.
Between four and eight units are affected by the smoke. An emergency manager from the apartment complex also responded to the fire to see if anyone will be displaced for the night.
At the time of publication, Provo fire officials were trying to determine the names of the occupants of the burned apartment. There were no injures reported at this time and the firefighters and public are all accounted for.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
