Apartment fire breaks out in Millcreek, harming a cat on Thursday

MILLCREEK — On Thursday, at approximately 6:13 p.m., an apartment fire broke out around 3900 S 900 E in Millcreek, harming a cat.
Benjamin Porter with the United Fire Authority said it is believed the occupants were cooking food on the stove when the house caught fire.

Porter said units were able to contain the fire with an aggressive offensive attack.
No injuries have been reported except one cat. The cat was stuck inside but was able to get out. The cat received oxygen on the ambulance and is doing good.
A lot of other units had a lot of smoke in them but seem unaffected.
