Two men rescued after being swept away by avalanche

MIDWAY, Utah — A four-hour search and rescue led to two snowmobilers being saved on Saturday after they received injuries from an avalanche.

Wasatch County Search and Rescue said in a Facebook post that the two men were caught in the avalanche around noon in the Snake Creek area.

According to the search and rescue team, one of the men received serious injuries and had to be transported to the hospital via helicopter. Currently, there is no word on the man’s current condition.
