Beaver police are still searching for man suspected of violent crimes

SALT LAKE CITY — The Beaver County Sheriff’s Office said a man is still at large after hours of searching in a Beaver neighborhood.
Late on March 4, 2026, a Beaver neighborhood was asked to either evacuate or shelter in place after the man was seen fleeing into a house.
A deputy that saw the suspect ordered the man to stop but the man refused.
The Beaver County Sheriff’s Office said the man is known to have outstanding violent felony warrants.

Because of the violent nature of the man’s warrants the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office asked neighbors to evacuate or shelter in place.
After the residence was searched and cleared officers from several departments conducted a search operation of the area.
After searching for several hours officials announced the man had left the area and the search efforts had ended. Part of the shelter in place was lifted at that time. The remainder was lifted later Thursday morning.
The Beaver County Sheriff’s Office said the man is still at large and the investigation is ongoing.
