Handcart Days Parade celebrates its 75th anniversary

SALT LAKE CITY — Celebrating its 75th year, the second largest parade in Utah began running its route in Bountiful on Saturday morning.
According to its website, the 2025 Handcart Days Parade runs 1.8 miles along Bountiful’s Main Street, starting at 9 a.m.
“The parade runs north along Bountiful Main Street from 1500 South to 400 North, then turns west and continues to 100 West,” the website stated.
Following the parade, activities will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bountiful City Park, located at 400 N 200 W.
In addition to the parade and activities, Bountiful City will be displaying a firework show at 10 p.m. at Mueller Park Junior High School, located at 955 E 1800 S.
“The fireworks display will be launched from behind the school building (east side),” the website stated. “Viewers can enjoy the view from safe designated spaces around the building, surrounding neighborhoods, and even miles away.”
