2 stabbed during quinceañera in Heber

HEBER — Police are investigating after two people were stabbed at a quinceañera in Heber City Sunday night.
Chief Parker Sever with the Heber City Police Department said a SWAT operation was carried out near 5o N. Mill Road Monday night as part of the investigation.
Sever said officers were called to the scene of a party just before midnight.
When they arrived, they found two people stabbed. One person was stabbed in the leg and another in the stomach. The person who was stabbed in the stomach was life-flighted and hospitalized in critical condition.
Sever said they did not have suspects in custody but have several leads. Sever also said they were investigating the motive for the stabbings.
