SALT LAKE CITY — South Salt Lake Police Department said they’ve located the ‘missing, endangered girl’ Sunday afternoon.

Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing, endangered 12-year-old girl.

South Salt Lake Police Department said the girl is about five feet tall, weighs 80 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.

“She was last seen wearing a purple jacket, red long-sleeved shirt, jean shorts, and gray shoes,” the police department said in a Facebook post. “She is considered endangered due to her young age.”

According to police, the girl left her house located in South Salt Lake. Police asked the public to keep an eye out for her on Friday night at 9 p.m.

“If you have any information about [the girl]’s location, please call the South Salt Lake Police Department at 801-840-4000 and reference case number LK2025-15704,” police stated in the post.
