FARMINGTON — A Utah mother who fled the country with her four children after posting a series of apocalyptic religious videos on social media has been booked into a Davis County jail.

Elleshia Anne Seymour, 35, allegedly disappeared with the children on Nov. 30, 2025, boarding a one-way Delta Airlines flight from Salt Lake City to Europe with no notice to the children’s fathers.

Kendall Seymour, the father of three of the children, spoke with EastIdahoNews.com in January and said Elleshia left two notes behind at her home, including a “delusional message from God” promising she’d be “in Italy by Christmas” and a to-do list that involved discarding her phone and buying a prepaid burner phone.

Seymour had posted increasingly extreme religious messages on her TikTok account, some titled “Urgent Word,” “Brace Yourself,” “Zombies,” and “US Decimated.” She spoke of darkness consuming America, urged followers to “get provisions,” and warned that Salt Lake City would soon be destroyed.

In January, investigators found the children and placed them in a Croatian orphanage. Kendall Seymour and his sister, Jill Seymour, traveled to Europe and learned that Elleshia had reportedly connected with a woman in Croatia through TikTok and took the children to live with the woman and her 13-year-old son.

The woman reportedly was unaware that Elleshia did not have custody of her children and the woman’s son discovered they were missing in America from news reports, Jill Seymour told EastIdahoNews.com in January. The boy then informed his mother, who packed up Elleshia’s belongings and drove her to the police station.

Elleshia was arrested but further details were not released.

Last week, U.S. Marshals took custody of Elleshia and extradited her to the Davis County Jail. Jail records show she was booked at 1:44 a.m. on June 13 on a charge of custodial interference, removing a child from the state.
