MURRAY — An adult motorcycle rider was hospitalized with critical injuries after Murray police said they were hit by a car on Tuesday afternoon.
The motorcyclist was hit in the intersection of 6400 S. Highland Drive at approximately 5:20 p.m.
Murray Police spokesperson Kristin Reardon said the driver of the vehicle that was involved stayed on the scene and was cooperative with police.
The accident shut down traffic in the area for “quite a while,” Reardon said. But at the time of publication, the roads were back open.
There is no sign of impairment, Reardon also said.
