SALT LAKE CITY — A motorcyclist died on Wednesday after crashing in Salt Lake City.
Officer Jason Johnson with the Salt Lake City Police Department said a man riding a motorcycle lost control of his bike around midnight early Wednesday near 1100 E 500 S.
The rider then separated from his bike and went over the median, where Johnson said an officer found him.
“One of our officers actually came across (the crash) after the incident,” Johnson said.
The rider was taken to the hospital where he later died of his injuries, according to Johnson.
