Multiple pipelines breaks over weekend in West Valley City

WEST VALLEY CITY — The Granger-Hunter Improvement District of West Valley City confirmed that they experienced three main pipeline breaks on Saturday.
On Facebook Granger-Hunter Improvement District said that crews are working on each site to quickly fix the breaks.

The first location, 4100 South 1950 West, impacted Bennion Road to 2200 West. Approximently 2:30 p.m. on Saturday it was posted that normal services were expected to return about in six to ten hours.
Mock Orange Drive and Eucalyptus Way on the north intersection also saw a break. Customers on both streets were impacted. Granger-Hunter Improvement District said services will resume in about four to six hours.
More businesses on 3600 West 2370 South were impacted with a four to six hour estimated time to return to service.
The Granger-Hunter Improvement District also said that for those impacted, reasonable bottled water purchases will be reimbursed by GHID and any questions can be directed to 801-968-3551.
