4-car crash in Murray leaves 1 dead

SALT LAKE CITY — A four-car crash in Murray left one person dead on Tuesday.
According to Lt. Jake Huggard with Murray police, the crash happened around 10:55 a.m. on Winchester Street.
Murray police and firefighters responded to the scene and transported several people to the hospital.
Murray resident, Ila J. Luke, 74, died shortly after arriving at the hospital, according to Murray police. Her husband was also taken to the hospital and is still being treated.
According to police four vehicles were involved in the crash. All drivers have been cooperative with police and no chargers have been made.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Winchester Street near 700 West was shut down in all directions due to the crash.
