SALT LAKE CITY — There’s one more night of lane reductions planned for I-15 in Davis County this week.
Overnight on Wednesday, the Utah Department of Transportation reduced southbound I-15 to one lane of traffic between Park Lane in Farmington and Parrish Lane in Centerville.

The plan is to do the same on Wednesday night. Drivers could see the lane changes as early as 8 p.m. and can expect a more normal commute by 5 a.m.
During the overnight lane restrictions, UDOT will be working with the large beams that will form the connecting bridge from the West Davis Highway to northbound I-15.
The lane restrictions were supposed to take place last week, but UDOT said that multiple recent snowstorms forced them to delay this portion of the West Davis Highway construction project.
By the summer of 2024, West Davis will consist of a 16-mile highway between the junction of I-15 and Legacy Parkway in Farmington and a future extension of S.R.193 in West Point. A graphic of the project’s status indicates that, by early March 2023, the project is 60% complete.
