Ogden police find man lying in street, investigating as hit-and-run

OGDEN — An investigation is underway after a man was found lying in the street Sunday morning, according to the Ogden Police Department.

Lt. Shane Keyes of the OPD said the man was found in the center lane at 35th St. and Washington Blvd.

Around 1 a.m., Keyes said the Ogden Fire Department was en route to another call when they saw the man lying in the street.

Keyes said the man was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to injuries possibly related to a hit-and-run.

The man’s identity has not been released, but the OPD said he was in his 30s.
