SALT LAKE CITY — A crash in Sandy near 8600 South on I-15 happened on Sunday involving three vehicles.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, one child was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

Troopers closed the three right lanes going southbound.

Utah Highway Patrol doesn’t know what caused the crash.
