One hospitalized after cement truck collides with multiple vehicles in Lehi

SALT LAKE CITY – One person was hospitalized after a cement truck crashed with multiple vehicles in Lehi Friday, according to police.
At approximately 11:46 a.m., police said they were notified of a crash at the intersection of Mill Pond Road and Pioneer Crossing.
Police said at this point in the crash investigation, it appeared that a “cement truck struck a diesel vehicle, which then collided with an SUV traveling in the opposite direction.”
The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital with serious but stable injuries, police said. No other injuries were reported.
The Lehi Fire Department and the Utah Highway Patrol were reportedly assisting officers.
Partial closures on Mill Pond Road and Pioneer Crossing were in effect at the time of publication, according to a post on X by the Utah Department of Transportation.
