Orem police looking for owner of found cash, and praising honest kids

OREM — Does this envelope look familiar? Is the money yours? If so, Orem police would like to speak with you.

And at the same time, police are thanking the kids who they say found the money.

In a Facebook post, the Orem Police Department said a 12- and a 13-year-old boy found two envelopes near Mountain View High School’s stadium. There was a track meet going on at the time.

 

“There are clues,” Orem police say

Police said the envelopes contain clues that the owner would recognize, including the name “Anderson” and the phrase “2011 Sienna.”

They ask that anybody with information, or the potential owners, contact them and to “verify all kinds of information, such as the exact amount lost, etc.”
