TAYLORSVILLE, Utah — A man was transported to a hospital in critical condition after he was found pinned under the driver side of his car.

According to Taylorsville police, a man had his car jacked up and was working, by himself, under the front wheel.

Police said a passerby saw the man pinned under his car.  Taylorsville police said it is unclear how long the man was pinned under his car.

Rescue officials from Taylorsville Police, Taylorsville Fire, and residents of the apartment complex all came to help the man.

Police said approximately 13 people lifted the car off of the victim.
