Power outage in Sandy temporarily leaves over 6,000 without electricity

SALT LAKE CITY — A power outage in Sandy left over 6,000 customers without electricity for several hours on Wednesday.
Rocky Mountain Power said a damaged power line caused the outage. The company said power was restored around 1 p.m.
Customers can report an outage and check for updates on RMP’s website.
