SALT LAKE CITY — A car crashed into a gas station in Salt Lake City Friday afternoon.

Officer Jason Johnson with the Salt Lake City Police Department said a woman accidentally crashed her car into a Charlie’s Market Gas station as she was attempting to park in front of it. The gas is located at 900 S. and State Street.

Johnson said the woman was cited with a traffic violation following the incident. The woman did not show any signs of impairment.

No injuries were reported, however the gas station sustained “some” structural damage.
