SALT LAKE CITY — Rocky Mountain Power reported Monday morning that approximately 4,500 customers were without power in an area that stretches from Sandy to North Salt Lake. By the afternoon, that number had gone down to about 2,700 customers without power.
The cause is as yet undetermined.
Most of these outages are concentrated in the Millcreek and Holladay areas but there are a handful in other parts of the Salt Lake Valley at this hour.
If you’re affected and you’re in a sensitive group, there are cooling centers set up across Salt Lake County at many senior centers and libraries.
