SALT LAKE CITY — A semitrailer caught fire on Saturday, causing a portion of northbound Interstate 15 to be closed off to drivers.

Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Eddie Wright said the driver of the semitrailer had no injuries.

Fire crews were seen working on the fire at 2700 S in Salt Lake County at 4:30 p.m. By 4:43 p.m., the High-Occupancy Vehicle lane was open to drivers.
