Stolen truck leads to Ogden police chase

OGDEN, Utah – At around 1 a.m. near the West Haven area in Ogden, a trooper attempted to stop a GMC pickup truck for traffic violations. They were going 45 miles per hour and were unable to remain in the designated lane.
When the trooper turned their lights on, the truck increased its speed to almost 100 miles per hour and continued to struggle to stay in the lane. The trooper continued to pursuit.
The truck took an exit near 2700 North in Pleasant View. The trooper concluded the chase near the top of the exit ramp.
The trooper walked down the ramp and found the crashed GMC. The vehicle had struck multiple objects and was totaled.
The vehicles occupants fled on foot. They were later located and identified as minors. It was also later revealed that the GMC truck was reported stolen.
